Our daughter Gabriella was diagnosed in March of 2012 at 4 years old with a cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma.  She endured a year of chemotherapy treatments, weeks of radiation and multiple surgeries…treatments meant for adults that could harm her in order to cure her.  Through the nausea and the sickness, she remained focus on the task at hand…fighting for her life.  We were always so impressed by the grace she exhibited through the difficult days.  Today, Gabriella is 10 years old, cancer free and thriving.

During our treatment journey, we met another local family with a young girl named Tianna fighting the same cancer.  Our families came together to plan a countywide bake sale for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer to raise funds for improving pediatric cancer treatments.   Shortly after Tianna passed away at 14, we decided that more needed to be done.  Together we created a non-profit foundation called “Team G Childhood Cancer” to fund childhood cancer research and give support to parents throughour care packages we call “hope totes”.

We are honored to partner once again with Cookies for Kids’ Cancer with the mission of fighting childhood cancer one cookie at a time.
