Dear Friends,

On behalf of Team G Childhood Cancer Foundation, we want to thank you for your participation at our 3nd annual Gabriella’s Snow Day!  Your contribution helped us raise over $4,500!  These precious dollars will be used to fund the Team G mission to fund research and development of treatments for pediatric cancers and support newly diagnosed families fighting childhood cancer with our Hope Tote program.  We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your enthusiasm and continued commitment to children fighting cancer.

Our 3rd annual Gabriella’s Snow Day was held on December 19th.    Although the day brought rain, it also brought many adventurous parents and their enthusiastic little ones to play in the snow, play games and crafts and experience a beautifully wet winter wonderland!  The Scotts Valley Fire Department brought a holly jolly Santa to visit all the children who came. Santa Cruz Warriors, Mav’Riks along with a special visit from Elsa and Anna came to share in the festivities.  Volunteers, friends and family braved the rain and committed themselves to supporting the event.

Thank you to our sponsors, Ow Family Properties, Bogard Construction Inc., the Collishaw Family, Opes Advisors, Artic Glacier, Business with Pleasure, The Cinderella Company, Scotts Valley Feed, Ace Hardware, Alexis Party Rental, Habitat for Humanity East Bay, and our Bronze and raffle sponsors.

Team G Childhood Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families fighting pediatric cancer and funding new and innovative treatments to ultimately cure childhood cancer.  Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer, and every day 7 children die. Pediatric cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the U.S. taking the lives of more children than asthma, AIDS, multiple sclerosis and muscular dystrophy combined.  To find out more about Team G Childhood Cancer Foundation please visit: www.teamgfoundation.org.

When you’re a parent facing your child’s cancer, there is not much better than knowing there are so many caring and passionate individuals ready to support the families fighting pediatric cancer.  Knowing we will all continue this fight with our supporters behind us leaves us speechless.

With gratitude,

Kristin and Adam Cosner, Founders

This year, Team G incorporated a special Childhood Cancer Awareness Tree, decorated in gold for the ribbon color representing childhood cancer. The ribbons were adorned by colorful bulbs each representing a child who has been affected by cancer. The Green bulb represented a Survivor, the Blue represented an Angel and the Red represented a Warrior.  We had cancer parents from all over the world, even Australia, participate.  Our organization was honored to represent these children on our tree who have been affected by cancer.
