Joseph
Joseph is our sweet, sensitive and funny 13 year old son. On the night of May 3rd, our lives were turned upside down when he was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. In the weeks leading up to his diagnosis, he complained of headaches and tiredness, and then a week before his body was covered in bruises from head to toe from lacrosse. The bruising is what led his doctor to ask for a blood test, and the results sent us to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Joey has been a warrior throughout his treatment, and has so far, been tolerating it well. He is surrounded by friends and family that love and support him. He is keeping active by swimming and cooking, his new found hobby. Joe is currently in the Consolidation phase of treatment. He has a long road ahead of him, but together we will get through this because he is JTAstrong.
